Plans and pricing
Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Subelo Free costs $0. You get 1 artist name, up to 20 releases or 40 tracks (whichever comes first), delivery to all 242 stores and services, and you keep 80% of your royalties. Support is through the help center and email, with replies in about 5 business days.
How much do paid plans cost?
Solo is $21.99/year, Plus is $39.99/year and Label is $79.99/year, all billed yearly in USD. Every paid plan keeps 100% of your royalties and has unlimited releases.
Why is Subelo cheaper than DistroKid?
We kept the plan structure simple and priced each plan a bit under DistroKid's equivalent (checked Oct 18, 2026). New stores are added free on every plan, including Free. DistroKid sells that as an extra.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your account moves to Free. Releases within the Free limits stay live. For releases beyond that, renew or add Keep Forever.
Which add-ons are there?
YouTube Content ID ($3.99/single or $11.99/album per year), neighbouring rights collection ($1.99/single or $4.99/album per year) and Keep Forever ($24/single or $39/album, one time). Add-ons need Solo or higher.
Releases and review
Who reviews my release?
A person on the Subelo team. Automatic checks run first, then every release on every plan is reviewed and approved by hand before it is sent to stores.
How long until my music is live?
Pick a release date at least 14 days out to be safe, especially if you want to pitch to Spotify editorial.
What if something needs fixing?
We tell you exactly what to change. You fix it and send it back for review.
Which genres do you accept?
All of them. Our release form lists 285 genres.
Can I use my own UPC or ISRC codes?
On Plus and Label, yes. On Free and Solo, Subelo assigns the codes for you at no cost.
Stores and money
Which stores do you deliver to?
All 242 stores and services on our current list, on every plan, Free included. You can send a release to all of them or pick some. See every store.
Do I keep my rights?
Yes. You keep ownership of your music. Distribution is non-exclusive. See the Artist Distribution Agreement.
How and when do I get paid?
Can I split royalties with collaborators?
Yes, on every plan, including Free.
Do you offer pre-save links?
Not yet. Every release gets a free smart link.
