01The short version

Effective date: . This policy explains how Subelo Distro (“Subelo”, “we”, “us”) handles personal information when you use subelodistro.com, the Subelo artist app and the public artist pages and release links we host.

  • We collect what we need to run your account, deliver your music to stores and pay you.
  • We share release details and files with the stores you choose and the delivery providers that help us reach them. That is how distribution works.
  • We don't sell your personal information and we don't run ads or ad tracking.
  • You can ask us to see, correct, export or delete your data at admin@subelodistro.com.

02What we collect

Account

  • Your email address, sign-in times and basic security logs. Sign-in uses one-time email links, so we don't store a password.
  • Your plan, the date you accepted our terms, and how many releases and tracks you have used.
  • If you invite team members, their email addresses and roles.

Artist profile and public page

  • Artist name(s), whether you are a solo artist or a group, your store profile links (for example Spotify and Apple Music), and any bio, banner, photos and social links you add to your public artist page.

Releases

  • Release metadata you enter: titles, language, release date and time, genres, lyrics, explicit and AI-use answers, store and territory choices, label and copyright lines, and UPC/ISRC codes.
  • Credits: names and roles of the people on each track. Royalty splits: names, percentages and, if you add them, collaborators' email addresses.
  • Your cover art and audio files.
  • Our review history for each release: automatic checks, notes from our team and status changes.

Royalties and payouts

  • Sales and streaming reports from stores for your releases, and the earnings we calculate from them.
  • When you request a payout: your payout details (for example bank account or PayPal email), payout history and the identity and tax information needed to pay you lawfully.

Billing

  • Paid plans are not on sale yet, so we don't collect payment card details today. When they launch, card payments will be handled by our payment processor (Stripe) and we will only keep the plan, amount, dates and the last four digits of the card.

Messages

  • Anything you send us by email or through support.

Visitors to public artist pages and release links

  • We count page views, store-button clicks and pre-save taps as daily totals, broken down only by country, referring website and device type. We don't store IP addresses or any identifier for these counts and we set no cookies on these pages. See Cookies.

04How payouts work

Stores report sales and streams to us one to two months after they happen and pay a few months later, so earnings usually appear in your account about 3 months after the streams. We update balances and pay monthly. Once your balance reaches $20 you can request a payout. On the Free plan you receive 80% of royalties and we keep 20%; paid plans receive 100%.

We share personal information only as described here. We don't sell it or share it for targeted advertising.

06International transfers

We are based in the United States and our providers store data mainly in the US. Stores you deliver to may be located anywhere in the world. Where we move personal data out of the EU, UK or other regions with transfer rules, we rely on the safeguards those laws allow, such as standard contractual clauses.

07Cookies

  • Sign-in cookies. Our login system sets cookies that keep you signed in and protect sign-in forms. The app can't work without them.
  • No analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will update this page first and ask for consent where the law requires it.

08How long we keep it

  • Royalty, payout and tax records: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
  • Audio and artwork files: deleted after takedown, unless we need them for a rights dispute.

Stores keep their own copies of delivered releases and reports under their own policies.

  • See and update most of your details in your account and releases, and delete draft releases from your dashboard.
  • Email admin@subelodistro.com to ask for a copy of your data, to correct it, to delete it or your account, or to object to or restrict how we use it. We will confirm your identity from the email address on your account and reply within 30 days (45 days where US state law allows).

You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

California and other US states

You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access, correct and delete it, and to opt out of its sale or sharing for targeted advertising. We don't sell or share personal information in that sense. We won't treat you differently for using these rights. You can use an authorised agent; we may ask them for proof.

Some data can't be deleted while a release is live or while we must keep it by law, for example royalty and tax records. If we can't complete a request, we will tell you why.

10Security

When we change this policy we will update the effective date at the top. For important changes we will email you before they take effect.
